How do you become a Licensed Real Estate Agent?

Requirements:

• 18 Years of age
• Completed Application
• Proof of completion of a 60-clock hour class in a Washington State-approved Program
• Passing grade on the state license exam

Washington State License Exam

• The cost of the exam is $138.25. You must pre-register, no walk-in registration is accepted.  Results of the exam are given to you on the day of the examination.
• The exams are held at various sites throughout Washington. Call ASI at 800/274-5985 for the office nearest you.
• The exam consists of two sections - the National section and the State section. You must pass with at least 70 percent on each portion.
• To obtain your license, candidates must complete a license application card (available from the Department of Licensing) and obtain their Broker's signature. The cost to activate your license is $146.25.
